Course Description
This course serves as the foundation for building essential networking skills, preparing students for CCNA certification and entry-level networking jobs. Students have the opportunity to configure basic network devices using Cisco IOS, including routers and switches. Key topics covered include IP addressing and subnetting, basic router and switch configuration, and essential troubleshooting techniques. Through hands-on labs, instructors guide students to practice configuring network devices, applying subnetting skills, and establishing network connectivity. In addition, the course introduces foundational concepts in network security, providing insight into endpoint security and access control measures. By the end of the course, students should gain a solid understanding of how to manage and configure small-scale networks and troubleshoot common network issues.
